We had a great Mother's Day service on Sunday. Matt and Melody did a great job with their "Momisms" skit. We looked at the opportunity we all have to influence the next generation for Christ. King Lemuel's mom taught him to watch out for women, wine, and the weak. When we get self-focused we are unable to minister to those around us. The tendency in our culture is to be a consumer and not a contributor. My goal and prayer for my life is that I learn to be just as focused on the needs of others as I am my own. How about you?
